Tag Heuer perpetuates the legend with this emblematic model from the 60s
The monaco was one of the first models equipped with a self-winding micro-rotor automatic chronograph movement. The history of this watch was marked when Steeve McQueen chose it himself for the movie Le Mans.
During the filming, Joe Siffert, a famous pilot of the 60's, was present to double McQueen on certain scenes. McQueen having spotted his white suit signed Heuer Gulf wanted then worn the same.
He then made the choice to wear the Monaco for the film and from there, the watch enters the legend
